The obverse of the coin features the flower of the Bauhinia Blakeana or Hong Kong Orchid Tree, with Hong Kong in Chinese characters and English above and below. The reverse design depicts the denominational value TEN DOLLARS in Chinese characters and English with a large Arabic numeral in the centre and the issuing year 1994. It contains a coin case, a nice gift box and also a Certificate of Authenticity.
