2008 China NEW YEAR commemorative one yuan card set (Rat year)

This Ordinary New Year Commemorative one yuan Coin for 2008 is a legal tender of the People's Republic of China. China issued such new year commemorative one yuan coin every year since 2003 (Sheep year). This is the 6th issues. It came with a great design booklet coin holder and a envelope. It also come with a Certificate.

The central motif portrays a little boy with a rat-shaped Chinese knot in his left hand, each of wich inscribed with word "prosperity", is running out of the house, wishing everyone Happy New Year and Good Luck in the Year of the Rat. On the lower right are the Chinese characters for the year 2008.

The main scene are the Chinese characters "One Yuan" with the characters "Zhongguo Renmin Yinhang" meaning Chinese phonetic "YI YUAN" on the lower left side and "2008" on the lower side.
