This is a Chinese carvings for a Hand Head - upper is a Buddha head on a hand and bottom only can see a hand. It is dark brown in color. I don't know what is this made of, looks like wood, stone or mud. Seems hand made because everyone with some difference. I bought this from a local market in Peking (also known as Beijing - capital of China). I love the fine engraving. We pay for airmail with excellent packing.
